Ogden Marathon 3:47:33 Short-Term Running Goals: Qualify for Boston Long-Term Running Goals: I would love to qualify for Boston and just continue to get faster Personal: I am married and have 2 kids, they keep me smiling and definitely keep me busy. I began to have a passion for running because it keeps me healthy mentally and physically. Sometimes you just need to take a break and go for a run:) I want to push myself, I haven't had much experience with road races and I would love to get stronger and faster. | Woke up at 5:00 and did insanity and then went to the gym and did my first threshold run in my training program on the treadmill. 2 miles at 8:34 pace, 10 mins at 7:41 pace, 10 min at 7:13 pace and then finished with 2 miles at 8:34. The 10 min at 7:13 was pretty challenging for me and I had to take a few breathers. I hope to push through at these faster paces in future threshold runs. I also hope to be able to keep these paces outside and not on a treadmill. IT band is bothering me still. Bought a foam roller yesterday and hope to roll it out and ice it to keep it from getting worse. |

| Threshold run 2 miles easy. 2x15 min at 1/2 marathon-10k pace ran @ 7:00-7:30 pace. My knee was aching bad after finishing but it really was a great run |
